EarlyBird Evaluation

Summary

EarlyBird is an early intervention parent education programme for families with young children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). It is fully funded by the Ministries of Health and Education and has been run in New Zealand since 2001 by Autism New Zealand. This evaluation was commissioned by the Ministries of Health and Education and confirms that EarlyBird is an effective programme which provides parents with knowledge and skills to support their child with ASD. The evaluation report is presented here in full and in a condensed plain language version.
